Approval Amendments

The University of Arizona's EHS holds operating licenses for all ionizing radiation use at the University. EHS, operating under regulations set by the Arizona Bureau of Radiation Control (BRC), requires anyone working with any ionizing radiation to receive approval from the University's Radiation Safety Committee. Updates to existing approvals must be submitted to EHS for further review by the Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) prior to implementation. Please see instructions to gain approval for each of the use conditions below.

Any changes to approved protocols, or any additions of radionuclides to an approved application requires that the Approval Holder submit the an amendment application to EHS for review the Radiation Safety Committee. Approval must be obtained prior to beginning the planned projects.
