Calibration
- Portable radiation detection instruments are required to be calibrated annually. EHS provides this service at no cost.
- A member of EHS will contact Approval Holders or Approval Safety Coordinators to arrange for the instrument to be picked up for calibration and return it when the process is completed. This process takes approximately one week. If you require a loaner instrument, notify EHS when you are contacted.
- Do not alter the settings inside the instrument body.
