The University of Arizona is committed to protecting the health and safety of its faculty, staff, and students. We recognize that some research requires the use of potentially pathogenic microorganisms, other biological materials, genetically modified organisms (GMO), and organisms containing recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules. To ensure the safe use of these organisms, the University requires compliance with applicable federal, state, University, and other regulations.
