Hazardous Waste Disposal Request

Chemical and biohazardous waste can be requested at any time. Complete the form below to schedule. Note that chemical waste is removed on a quarter system and it may take up to 4 weeks to be removed. Radioactive waste is disposed of separately (see Radiation Safety).

 

 

Stormwater Prevention Program

The UA Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) covers operations at the Tucson main campus, motor pool, Cat Tran Service Station, Rincon Vista, Sixth Street greenhouses, West Campus Agricultural Center (WCAC), Arizona Material Laboratory, Sunnyside Center, and the Arizona Health Sciences Center (AHSC). The SWMP has been developed as required by the Stormwater Phase II Final Rule (64 Federal Register 68722) incorporated by reference in the Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A905. This plan meets the requirements of the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Small MS4 General Permit (No. AZG2002-002) for Stormwater Management Program.

Shipping Dangerous Goods

Air shipment of hazardous materials (Dangerous Goods) is governed by United Nations and U.S. Government regulations. All shipments of hazardous materials originating from the University must be coordinated through one of the designated units as listed below.
